Warm day and sick child

This morning we woke up to a ill child. Within minutes he vomited in to our "puke" bowl and than was fine the rest of the day.

By mid day, the house was warm and it felt great.

B spent most of the day on the computer. He's favorite youtube of Star Wars.

Why is it that, car sales men don't seem to want to help potential customers?

T's Jeep is broken and so we stopped to look at used Jeeps. Not one person came out even though he and B were looking at Jeeps for more than 10 minutes. We were getting ready to leave when T asked about maybe getting a salesman. I told him to go ahead because he had some questions about the Jeep he wanted. So he and B went back up to the sales floor to get a salesman who than came out and showed him the inside of the Jeep. Let's just say that T came away from that dealership with a bad taste in his mouth. The guy did nothing but complain about how "he" would have to get rid of a really bad Jeep (T's Jeep is nearly 10 years old and has over 200K miles on it)

It really ticks me off, when I go to look at vehicles to buy and not one sale person comes out. I've been known to walk off a car lot when no one comes out to help me.

Years ago, when I was looking for my first car, my Dad and I went to a well known car dealership. We were on that lot for 15 minutes and not one salesman came to ask if we needed help. There were 3 salesmen stand by the door talking and not one came over to help us. My Dad got pissed and away we went to another dealership.

craigslist and scammers

Holy cow, I'm so tired of scammers trying to scam me on some items I have posted on Craigs List. What a pain in the backside.

I've posted a couple of items before and never had this much problem with scammers.

I've had several trying to get me to take a "certified check" and than they'll have their "guys" come and get the item. Right like that is going to happen. Not in this life time of mine.

Today I got one for an item that I've been trying to sale that linked me to a damn video they made and it wants me to load in a program on my puter just to watch this unwanted video. Again I was not born yesterday and it's not going ot happen.

Yes I know it's free to me to post but come on people, I'm not going to fall for the scam.

I did have one person whom I did give my home addy to and set up a time for them to come get the item. My husband waited as long as he could to help take it apart and load it. He left and I waited more. They never showed up nor did they call to say they were not coming. I did email her again and no response so I moved on.

So now for the frustration scream AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhh

Vets burid alone

Such a sad time that American service members are being buried without freinds or family with them. There are at least two articles recently about former military members being buried without anyone there to say good bye.

When my husband's grandfather died about a year ago, the family took his ashes to one of America's new military cemeteries. It was a cold day and the wind was blowing like mad. There were two chaplian's and a color guard there to help send Grandpa off. There were about 24 people including children (his great grandchildren and one great great grandchild).

No former American military member show go alone. Why not take some time and attend a few funerals and send off one person with dignity.
